Stu:
- getting excited about the otters and the spider monkeys with us at the zoo even though you probably just wanted to rest after another business trip...oh, and also getting excited about the heavenly sandwiches and treats we snarfed later! Yum. - showering me with lots of birthday treats and thoughtful deeds
-continually dedicated to your demanding job, full-time MBA, and family (not to mention your home teaching and ward choir)
- watching how much you just adore your darling baby girl...oh, and you love her flaxen baby mullet so much that you never want to get it cut. We'll see about that!

- after the leprechauns magically turned our oatmeal green you excitedly whispered in my ear, "I saw the food coloring! *wink*" Suddenly leprechauns don't seem so magical anymore...but at least you're willing to carry on the secret for the little ones. I guess we'll see what happens with the Easter bunny!
- as we were talking about being a great gift-giver you were insistent upon buying your friend, Isaac, a wii for his birthday - not just a game, but the entire system! "I have $43 in my jar, Mom. He would love it!" So sweet. (We bought a nurf football instead.)
- telling the babysitter that when Drew refuses to eat dinner, your mom usually gives him a little candy. Wha? Thankfully Marci didn't believe your little joke!

- "my kitty is actually a dragon/snow leopard/princess/star wars guy/super hero!" - followed by some crazy story about the appropriate character
- "look mom, I'm coloring in the lines!" (I hear this constantly and it's mostly sincere and entirely not true. Your concentration on coloring is becoming quite astounding...actually a little bit obsessive!)
- begging to ride your bike every second...even during torrential rain.- carefully gathering about 15 caterpillars and several roly-poly bugs into their very own rock house...each one who tried to escape was tenderly placed back in the rocks and you sweetly whispered, "Stay here little caterpillar. It's safer in here."
- trying so hard to share and be sweet with your often-selfish baby sister, but mostly just yanking things away from her. Someday you'll learn...I hope.
Cupcake:
- that scrunchy face you make when you're trying to close your eyes...hysterical
- favorite new phrases (that term is used loosely): "That's Drew's.", "No, MINE", "a show" (demanding to watch TV), "go, go, GO" (mostly when the boys are riding bikes),"bye, bye, Da-da"
- running up to dad for a huge hug...around both of his knees
- your sweet blond wispy hair and uneven smile are so endearing to me. I'll be a little sad when you finally grow a full head of hair and more than 7 teeth.
- insane squeals and dancy-feet for at least 3 minutes straight when you saw a big turtle at the zoo doing flips under the water. Enthusiasm over a turtle...seriously?
- calling all the monkeys "Boots"
- trying to be a little mommy already: pointing out every baby you see and yelling "beebee, BEEBEE" until finally acknowledged; pulling everything onto your shoulder like a purse - buckets, bags, mommy's flip flops; and of course wrapping up your doll and pushing her around in the dolly stroller. Don't you know that you're still a baby too?

Oh, I just love you and your family so much! This makes me miss you guys like crazy. I would love to see little Flora playing with her babies & "purses" and Drew tormenting all the bugs.
You describe your sweet family so beautifully. Like Sara said, reading it makes me want to jump on a plane RIGHT NOW to hug and squeeze those little ones. Seriously, more photos would be greatly appreciated.
I love you, your fam and your 'My Loves' posts! When are you moving to YYC?
