Stu:
- sweating through your suit in church while rocking cupcake just so she didn't wake up!
- cleaning the dishes, sweeping the floors and vacuuming the house one Saturday morning so it was show-worthy for potential buyers
- helping me create order with our tired boys and wrestling them into bed even after you've had a long day at work (and usually before you've even had dinner)
- holding onto your job despite all the layoffs
- diligently fulfilling your calling every week
- telling me (again) that the best decision you ever made was choosing to marry me...so sweet!
Little Bear:
- watching the wheels turning in your bright little mind as you read pretty much everything: "Mom, this is so funny...it says I Can't Believe it's not Butter! Did you know that?"
- Catching you being nice to your rascal brother: Daddy came up to say "lights out" last night and caught you in Drew's bunk (not allowed at bedtime) sweetly reading a story to him...the scene was so precious that all was forgiven immediately.
- proudly taking your turn reading a verse of scripture every day - with minimal help
- Grandpa Taylor announced that he is flying back home to Canada in the morning and you said, "Awww...I wanted you to stay for another week!" That made Grandpa feel so good!
- trying to help Drew to be happy on the airplane
Boo-boo:
- the intense focus you exert when you are really concentrating - usually the focus is directed toward collecting roly-poly bugs, splashing water all over the bathroom, removing the cap off every single marker in the house, scheming ways to get your hands on Easter candy...
- your little words are hilarious and I rarely correct you because it is so darn cute. Can you guess what Drew is trying to say? a)"BIU" shirt, b) "nak-min", c) "pan-yo", d) "Can-dada",
e) "oyt-mee-o".
- your extreme naughtiness - locking Mommy and Grandpa Taylor out of the house after our walk (Someday I'll laugh about that one...)
- more extreme naughtiness - the water damage incident (I don't foresee laughing about that one...it's a little too fresh!)
Cupcake:
- your big toothless grin
- thinking your toes are yummy chew toys
- more giggles and coos
- startling yourself every time you accidentally roll over...so funny!
- the confused look on your face when I fed you pablum for the first time - and then I scooped the same bite off your chin over and over again!
- splattering your momma with bright orange sweet potatoes
- eventually learning how to swallow a few bites and then gobbling up all of your pears and rice cereal (we're still working on sweet potatoes)
- sticking out your tongue when concentrating - just like your Grandma!
