My Loves: November

Stu:
- hopping on your bike to ride next to Walker as you teach him how to manage the dreaded turn
- picking up a pumpkin cheesecake for Thanksgiving at a fancy new bakery before lunch and coming home with an enormous box full of baked goods! Completely out of character and indulgent (sounds like something I would do)...but I love it.

Little Bear:
- Dad: Why don't you go and have an apple for a snack? LB: I'm going to have an apple and then two candies. How about that? (He's getting sassy, but with a huge grin so it's still lovable!)
- still getting a little tear-y whenever you learn something new on the piano...but you plug along and keep working to improve every day (so proud of you!)
- after removing the training wheels on your bike I went inside to grab your father and came back out to see you riding away down the street all on your own. No training necessary.

Boo-Boo:
- During dinner one night trying to describe your headache, "My brain is scrunched!" while opening and closing your little fists over your head. "I'm just going to go lie down on the carpet for a sec." (Poor little guy had a fever and went to bed very early that night.)
- refusing to eat any thanksgiving dinner (it was a gorgeous feast), spilling your red drink all over the table, and then eating a big bowl of raman noodles (ichiban for you Canadians) about an hour later. Oh well!

Cupcake:
- so many steps and so many bonks...you're finally toddling around the house like a regular bi-ped!
- more "words": mama (loud and consistent), da (dad), ba (ball), gah-goh (all gone)
- your scream has been occasionally replaced by a vigorous tummy rub - the sign for "please" That's music to Momma's ears!
- my favorite sound in the whole world is your giggle...oh, and also when you talk nonsense garbled babble with such expression, and then expect a response.
