My Loves: Sept 2011

Stu:

back at the grind with work, school, studying, and commuting...lucky boy

reluctant to tell me about the delicious food you eat at business lunches becase you know I have food envy (my usual PB&J and carrot sticks are getting old, okay?)

using your fancy new smoker to cook large hunks of delicious meat

surprising me with a fun new camera...I guess you're not the only one who's sick of my mobile photos!

Bear:

highly motivated by a star on the calendar or by checking jobs off your list...also highly motivated to be on time for soccer games!

working hard at school (acing all your spelling and math tests), working hard at soccer (still trying to figure out where you should be on the field), working hard at piano (starting with a new teacher and rocking your first performance), working hard at screen time (dominating your new hand-held gaming device...way to make your momma proud. haha!)

Boo:

crushed up an entire bucket of sidewalk chalk into powder, mixed it with water, painted everything in sight, and voila!....a huge mess

you're happy to run grab a soother/blanket/diaper whenever mommy needs help

also happy to throw your head back and laugh whenever baby pukes/toots/poops

Cupcake:

breakfast: "mee-mee-meats", "special cake", and "raisin brown". Doesn't that sound delicious?

your lovely red hemangioma on your left cheek is affectionately known as your "booty mark"

the way you insist on wearing your special polka dot ballerina panties for ballet class

busted into an interpretive dance in sacrament meeting right in front of the pulpit during a tender musical solo - the music just took over and you had no choice

one very naughty evening you bit the baby's pinky finger (H shrieked, you smirked), jumped on my sunglasses until both arms broke off, giggled and ran away nude when I tried to get jammies on, and then you got up out of bed 800 times...but I STILL love you!

Piglet:

somehow your big bro nicknamed you "grandpa head" and we really hope it doesn't stick! (perhaps the name came from your fringe of old man hair that I had to buzz off the other day. who knows?)

mostly a relaxed, happy little thing who is constantly adored by your big siblings. In fact, FK can't keep her hands (and lips!) off of your sweet little face.

it's no wonder your siblings adore you so...those coo's and giggles are rather addictive
