September firsts

First day of Third Grade for big Bear and first day of Kindergarten for sweet Boo-boo:

(Okay, this is slightly embarrassing that I took my soon-to-be three-year-old to the nail salon. FK got painted fingers and toes and then played in the foot bath while waiting for my extensive scrape-my-nasty-heels pedicure.  Although much less relaxing for me, it was so stinkin cute to see her having fun.)
